*Paris  the shepherd is Priam the king´s son. The king was told his son would bring tragedy and got rid of him. So he appears here as a shepherd.

*The man with a hat on is a god´s messenger (Hermes). His hat has wings. He took Paris here.

*The three women were painted from one only model (The painter´s wife) seen from diffferent positions.

*Paris holds a golden apple (the discordance apple. Discordance is another goddess) to be given to the winning goddess.
